Born on December 2 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her appearances in both TV shows and films. Brandt made her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. Brandt began her acting career as a New Zealander on Diplomatic Immunity. Since then, the actress has been featured in a ton of TV series, such as from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt plays Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa and then moved to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Her career began as a model, appearing in ads and commercials. Her meteoric rise as a model began while she worked in the retail industry and IT recruitment. In 2009, she was a part-time actress as a character on an New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021, she had her debut on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. Her character, Naevia, was reprised in the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series that included Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She also was cast to portray an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. The role she played in Lucifer is the biggest one up to now. This show has her co-starring along with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
