Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th, 1956 in Woodland Hills California. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. There are three brothers older than her: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. She won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest when she was just 6 years old and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the business of show production. McCormick was offered her first gig as a major actress in 1964. She was featured in a commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical the play Wind It Up And It Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected from among 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to be the youngest of three towheaded daughters on the brand new TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in the year 2008. In it she revealed the fact that McCormick nearly lost her virginity while on set of the series during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice, that during the fifth season of the show she almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams. She stated, but the time wasn't right for us.
